CYCLONE SEASON

While Tropical cyclones may develop in any
month, the cyclone season extends from November
to April. During this period, masters should be
aware that cyclones may develop and impact on
the port in less than 24 hours. Masters should
obtain a copy of the Cyclone Contingency Plan
from the Regional Harbour Master.
