TIDAL STREAMS

Tidal Streams in excess of 4 knots may be
experienced with the ebb between the entrance
and the Port of Bundaberg, and set across the
channel. No vessel of 150 metres LOA and over,
should attempt to proceed to sea on the ebb
during spring tide. Anchorage in Sea Reach is
unsafe owing to the rocky bottom and strong
tidal streams.
