PILOT BOARDING PLACE
Weather permitting, vessels will embark their pilots about 3.5
miles south of West Head; by night, in the white sector of
McHaffie Point light with Cape Schanck light bearing 295°. An
alternate boarding place is located about 2 miles east of
Breakwater Jetty for use by vessels of up to 9.75 metres
draught in bad weather.
