GOLD COAST SEAWAY

Mariners should exercise caution when navigating
the Gold Coast Seaway and the shallow water of
the bar. Mariners are advised not to passage the
area on the peak of the ebb tide, which is 4 to
6 hours after high water. Rapid shoaling east of
the Seaway can cause large breaking waves under
certain conditions.
